THE POST-2010 LISBON STRATEGY
The debate on the post-2010 Lisbon Strategy was begun at the Spring European Council in March of 2008.
Various persons and elements from the Council and from Member States, as well as the Network of National Lisbon Coordinators, have been contributing to this theme.
Thus, the first contributions to the debate were presented by the Commission and by the ‘Trio Presidency’ in the Coordinators meeting held in December, 2008.
Portugal also presented its position on the post-2010 Lisbon Strategy Priorities, seeing the issues it raised reflected in those brought up by the ‘Trio Presidency’ and in the document put forth by the European Commission.
